Living in Florida, this word automatically has me yearning to be walking on the beach - just a short drive from where I live!
Actually, I'm not that fond of the heat of Florida; but I do love the beach, the ocean, the waves...
Walking barefoot along the beach, squishing my toes into the sand...
Feeling the water wash over my bare feet...
So soothing; so calming!

ReplyDeleteGeorgia born and bred; military "brat"! Jacksonville, FL was my 2nd home; my father's parents were here, this is where my parents met and married. They moved back in '73; I moved here in '80 when my 1st hubby and I separated...been here ever since; married for 2nd time and loving my retirement to best of my ability!

ReplyDeleteYes, although I am really not that big of a fan of the sea...but I think it's really the HEAT that keeps me from enjoying it...I do wish I lived closer so I could just walk along the beach and let the waves wash over my feet! But, well...at least we are close...
