I HOPE...

Time {is running out!} for this week's Tuesday @ Ten - again!  We have a whole week to write on the prompt that Karen provides for us...and it takes me so long to get it together - with everything else going on!!

But, I am going to get this one written - soon!  So, here is this week's Tuesday @ Ten phrase prompt:

I HOPE...

I hope when I look back on my life the only things I remember are the times when I was happy and joyful and excited; those times I felt as if my life was worth every minute I spent living it!

Now, I know there have been times I would rather forget...

But, remembering the good things is so much better than those bad things!

I hope when I look back at the photos, and I see my children's and grandchildren's smiling faces, I remember all those good times!  

Yes, the fun we had, even if just hanging around the house ...

Watching the kids play; the adults enjoying a game of cards, a board game; watch a video or TV show; or just sit around and talk and enjoy being family - together!

Watching my grandson play baseball; or his brother showing his "form" in Karate, and receiving his next "belt".  Or, listening to my four-year old grandson tell me what "faith" is; or receiving hugs and cuddles and kisses from my two-year old grandson; or watching my one-year old granddaughter take her first few steps.

These are the things that I hope to look back on and remember...

Not the sad, unhappy memories...

Although, some of these sad, unhappy memories will remain buried deep in my memory, to be pulled out at times when ... want to or not, those memories come to the surface, if only for a moment or two.

Yes, this is what I hope...
