Five Minute Friday: WHEN

It is THURSDAY...FRIDAY and the weekend are almost here!  And tonight I am linking up with Kate for Five Minute Friday at http://katemotaung.com/ to write for only five minutes on a single word prompt!

Tonight's word is:  KEEP

And let me STOP before I set the timer!  I admit it!  I had to look up the word when, and check out a few quotes to get my juices flowing...but I think I have it now...
So, set the timer and GET READY, SET, GO...

This will probably sound like some of my other posts; but it's what finally clicked...

How many times have you said this - "I will make that phone call next week when my calendar is clearer."

Or...

"I will visit my mother/father/sister/brother/aunt/uncle/
cousin/friend/... when I get my next day off."

Or...

"I will start that Bible Study next month when I finish my other commitments/classes/projects."

Or...

"I really need to devote more time to prayer and meditation; but when do I have the time?"

Get the picture?

I am certainly not saying I do this when I can't sleep at night; I roll over and try to get back to sleep!

But, now that I think about it...

Perhaps that is my when!

And as for all the other whens...

Perhaps those whens are NOW!

Time to STOP!

    1. Thank you for reading, Diana! I tried that last night - only I didn't actually get up...my mind would NOT settle down; I tried praying, and seemed to relax a little; but my mind was still wandering...I'll get some reading done in a little while!
